web pages should have a clean background, solid colors, and either light with dark text, or dark with light text, backgrounds like this are just EW, people just don't want that when they load a page, there are businesses, who's web pages i've been to and i see the page and go "omg that looks so nasty and unprofessional", even if i like the business or company i won't visit their web site again.
